4th of July Weekend

We spent our 4th of July weekend of the mountain working on our cabin. This has been an ongoing project for our family for several years now. We enjoy being up there together and seeing the progress we make even when the work is very hard.

Ashley and I cleaning up all of the construction mess. The walls and doorways behind us as well as more cabinets in the kitchen and in the bathroom and two walls framed in upstairs were the fruits of our labors for this weekend.

Mud Day

We have had some rain the last couple of days. There was actually enough of it to leave mud puddles that my sons made quick use of at the first opportunity.

Liam loves to eat dirt (and rocks) anyway, so dirt that's already moistened is practically ice cream for him.

Michael was all about jumping into the puddles. Liam kept trying to get into this one, but he didn't like getting splashed in the face.
