Goodbye Curls

Well, it was time for my little boy to grow up in one more little way. He has been needing a haircut for quite a while now. He'll be 2 next week and he's never had one. I have been dragging my feet about the haircut becuase Michael has these adorable curls in the back of his hair. I knew they would be cut off and I didn't want them to be. All in all it wasn't that traumatic for anyone. Michael was really good; he didn't even cry at all. I didn't either. Levi cut it and it turned out pretty well. He looks like a little boy now and not so much of a baby. Oh well, it had to happen eventually.

Just a Note to Let You Know We're Fine

Hey I just wanted to put up a little post and let everyone know that we're still here and doing fine. The biggest news in our life is that I am pregnant. I'm sure many of you noticed that I had a little count down on the blog for a while. It went crazy, so I had to take it down. It had recently started saying that I only had 2 weeks left in my pregnancy when I am actually not due until August 3. If that was true, I'm sure I could get some sort of awards for the shortest pregnancy ever, and I look dang good for being that far along ;) I will try to get another one up. Really that's about all that's going on with us at the moment.

Wedding Fun

Last weekend my youngest sister got married. The last couple of weeks have been all about getting ready for the wedding and then recovering from the wedding. Life is starting to slow down again, so I will post some pictures from the festivities.

Here is a picture of Michael and my nephew Daxton. They were fascinated by all the snow at the temple. We kept waiting for Michael to face plant it in the snow, but he finally got smart and laid down on his belly.

Here's my cute son in his new little suit at the reception. (Sorry I didn't get the picture flipped.) Isn't he so handsome. He was totally excited about the refreshments at the reception, hot chocolate and doughnuts. He's addicted to hot chocolate and gets one cup almost every morning. He'd drink it all day if I let him.



We were rearranging out living room the other day. ( We actually do that more frequently than one would imagine. We're a little obsessive about finding just the right arrangement for everything. ) While we were moving stuff, Michael discovered that he could fit in the bottom cupboard of our entertainment center cabinets. He thought it was hilarious to crawl inside and then shut the door.

Michael has really been into shutting and locking things lately. In the last two days he has succeeded in locking himself in my grandparents truck (luckily my mom had pulled the keys), a bedroom with his cousin Jade (we're not really sure who was responsible for the door getting locked on that one), and my bedroom (good thing my dad has a tool that unlocks interior doors). It's just a fun new stage, right? That's what I keep telling myself.
