This past Monday & Tuesday a couple of friends and I
decided we needed to get away for a couple of days so we
went on a camping trip to Natural Bridges National
Monument. It was overcast & raining when we left town
It was raining a little when we arrived, but we decided
to hike the 5 miles between Sipapu Bridge &
Kachina Bridge anyways. Shortly into the hike the rain
stopped. As soon as we got back to the car it started raining.
It worked out beautifully. On Tuesday we hiked 10 miles
in Bullet Canyon in Cedar Mesa. Our plan was to hike to
the Perfect Kiva & Jailhouse ruins, but we got turned
around on the map and stopped about half a mile short
of the ruins. We decided we did it intentionally so we
have an excuse to go back. Here are a few pics from
the trip.

In our camp the fire-box had been broken off the pole it should have been on.
Brady & I did not have a trouble traversing around the pole while we stayed
at the camp. Bret on the hand...well you see how well he did.
know how our future expeditions turn out.
