Our new Spring Fashions

The weather here has been wonderful. The temperature has been getting into the 70's, so we have been pulling out all of our shorts and t-shirts. Michael and I even had a picnic lunch on our porch the other day. One day we went over to my mom's where my sister and her kids and some other cousins were playing in the backyard. The three little boys decided to adjust the look of their new spring wardrobes.

All of the boys standing in a cauldron full of mud...the secret ingredient to their hopes for this latest fashion trend. As you can see, Michael is also experimenting with a little over the top make-up as well. He could probably use a few pointers from his Aunt Katie. (I think he was bending over when one of the other boys jumped in the puddle.)

Here is Aunt Jasmine hosing the boys off. They all stood there calmly at first putting their hands and feet in the water; then Jasmine put a little force on the water and went for their bodies and they scattered like a bunch of little ants. She eventually talked the other two boys into coming back and holding still while she cleaned them off. Michael was not so gullible though. Jasmine chased him around the yard until he finally tripped in the dirt. All in all he ended up dirtier than when she started trying to clean him off. After this, it was off to the showers for all three of them.

I knew there were three cut boys under all of that mud...I mean fashion.

This post took me right back to my own childhood in Moab with my brothers... *wipe a tear*

And I'm jealous of your weather, as always.

What a cute kid you have! I'm excited to you guys in two days! And I can't wait to live there over the summer, and have lots more 'fashion shows.' But I'm not sure I could do any better then Michael did with his look!
