WE MISS ROCKY

Many of you are familiar with the boxer, Rocky, that our family had. We only had him for about 3 years, but he very quickly became a close part of our family. He latched onto Levi immediately, and followed him everywhere. He was already full grown and middle-aged for a boxer when we got him, so we never expected him to live a long time. About a week ago, Rocky wanted out in the middle of the night. This is not an unusual thing, so we just let him out. We haven't seen him since. Because no one else has seen him either, and he was prone to seizures, we believe that he went out and died. We had been expecting it, but it still makes us sad. It's especially hard when Michael and the other kids ask where Rocky is. So here are a few of our favorite pictures with Rocky.

Rocky was totally Levi's dog, and he thought he was a lap dog. Any time that Levi would go sit or lay on the floor Rocky was always right there to lay with or on him if he could manage it. Sometimes it was a race to see if Michael or Rocky would get there first.

Rocky was so good and patient with the kids, as this picture shows. My nephew Daxton thought of Rocky as his "Rocky-dog".

Oh, we miss Rocky too:( I'm so sorry you guys, he really was like one of the family. (For example: he had really bad gas, like Levi...:)

I love those pictures of Rocky. Every once in a while, especially at night, Daxton will still tear up and say he misses Rocky. Good thing Kurt let Daxton know that "all dogs go to heaven" :)
