Bifid Uvula????

So I think that Liam is going to be the child who constantly has me worrying. I was playing with him this morning and noticed something odd. I was looking in the back of his throat and saw that his uvula (the hangy ball in the back of your throat) was split in two at the bottom. It resembles a snakes forked tongue actually. So I did some research on the internet. I'm not sure if the internet is a blessing or a curse at times like this. I've found all kinds of reports from people who have had no problems, to delayed speech and chronic ear infections, to it being a symptom of a very serious aortic aneurism. It also seems to be caused at times by a form of cleft palate. My question is, has anyone else ever seen or dealt with this. I"m planning to mention it to my doctor, but I don't know how concerned to be at this point.

Don't stress too much! just mention it toyourdoctor. if itwas a big issue you wouldhave heard about it fromthe drs already. As long as it isn't interfering with his breathing and swallowing. let me knowwhat u find out though.
