My Secret Weapon for Nap Time

I have discovered the secret to nap time for Michael. (At least it works right now. We'll see how we're doing in a few days.) I always read a story to Michael before I put him to bed, then I let him look at the book for a little while before taking it away and having him close his eyes. In the past Michael has then wanted me to lay on the floor by him at nap time until he falls asleep. Until recently this was working out well for me because it forced me to take about 15 minutes every day and just relax. Now it is quite uncomfortable for me to lay on the floor, so we have been searching for plan B. I finally found it. It's the teddy bear that Michael is holding. It's not having the teddy bear to sleep with that does the trick; it's what I tell Michael to do. After I have read to him, I tell him to read the story to his bear, and then help his bear go to sleep. I leave the room and in a few minutes I find Michael and the bear like the picture above. I think it's the neatest trick, and Michael looks so cute all snuggled up with his teddy bear.
